MULTIPLATFORM WORKSHOP: Speakers confirmed

Created specifically for screen content creators in film/TV production and digital agencies alike, the Multi-Platform Workshop will give producers the creative and business tools to tell a story and deliver it across multiple platforms. Held over three days (November 24-26) the workshop focuses on what creators can achieve now with available and evolving technologies and business models.

MULTIPLATFORM WORKSHOP SPEAKERS INCLUDE

Jarod Green, Producer, Beached Az
Jarod helped pioneer a new social-broadcast distribution model with ABC TV for the series Beached Az – a case study in successful online content creation – developing strategies for distribution across social networks, broadcast channels, mobile applications, online and retail. He is also a contributor and consultant to the NSW government on digital media, and is the social media ambassador for the Sydney Swans.

Paul Callaghan, Freelance writer and independent game developer
Over the past 10 years, Paul has worked as a programmer, designer, writer, and teacher in the games industry in Australia and overseas. His credits include Men In Black 2 and Heroes of the Pacific. His cross-disciplinary experience has led him to an interest in linguistics, games as learning tools, meshing narrative with gameplay, character and story development, literacy and numeracy, and the philosophical underpinnings of how games work and what they can teach us about ourselves.
